It was a long night sailing due West away from the Straits of Gibraltar with large numbers of commercial ships converging from seemingly every angle, but the conditions were fine and we had a large moon which helped.
This morning we are making good progress with mainsail and poled-out yankee (goose-winging) in easterly winds of 16 knots.
