We’ve been out exploring and although this island is a lot more commercialised and touristy, there’s still lots of wildlife at every turn. Once again the pictures tell the story: A lava lizard:

We’ve been informed by family ornithologists that our hitchhikers on passage to the Galapagos were not finches, but martins. Here’s a Darwin finch (check out the beak):
Pelicans have found out it’s a lot less effort to get fish at the fish market:
