On Saturday morning we went to the wonderful covered market in Fort de France and came away with deliciously fragrant bags full of spices and Caribbean fruit and vegetables (can you ever have too much pineapple?).  In the afternoon we saw the local Yole team practising for the forthcoming regattas. This seemed to be a somewhat precarious affair with a safety boat busily picking up crew members who struggled to stay on board.
