Clarkes Court Bay, Grenada
12:00.68N 61:44.28W We spent just over a week in Bequia and enjoyed our second visit here very much. Definitely less frenetic out of the prime sailing season and the swimming off the boat was wonderful. We stocked up on fresh fruit and vegetables and then checked out of St Vincent and the Grenadines on Monday 1st July and had an excellent sail down to Union Island where we anchored in Chatham Bay overnight. The next morning we were up a first light for the longer leg to Grenada and, with much lighter winds than forecast, we were very grateful for the 2 knot favourable current as we sailed down the windward side of Grenada. Skipper landed a beautiful tuna and it is great to have fresh fish on the menu once again. We are now anchored off the village of Woburn in Clarkes Court Bay. |
