Here we are in our own private paradise off Nomuka Iki island which will undoubtedly rank highly as one of our all-time favourite anchorages.  Stunning aqua blue tones and flat calm water with snorkelling at its very best barely 100 metres from the boat.  It’s so difficult to do justice to the incredible underwater world on our doorstep.

We had a feeling about this place when, en-route, we were joined by a playful pod of dolphins.  Tongan dolphins are like Tongan children; they spot you from a distance and make a beeline for you!  Very special indeed.

We are truly delighted to have had such benign conditions whilst exploring this part of Tonga and although motor-sailing between anchorages was the order of the day, it’s a small price to pay to be able to enjoy these low lying hidden treasures.
