After a couple of nights anchored up the Sassafras River we took advantage of the brisk NW winds to head further south down the Bay and are now anchored in Grays Inn Creek in the Chester River.  It is extremely peaceful here and a delight.  The only sound to be heard is that of the honking geese, in the early evening, which are particularly vociferous as they begin to flock in readiness for their migration.

We are starting to see some of the early autumn colours and are noticing the change in temperature ourselves, so have retrieved from storage our thermals, fleece hats and sailing boots.
