Whilst at Block Island we were fortunate to catch up with fellow OCC members Bill and Laurie and were treated to a traditional and delicious New England clam boil aboard s/v Toodle-oo! together with their friends Mike and Jane. We very much enjoyed the evening with them all and hope our paths cross again in the future.

We set off from Block Island to take the favourable tide and wind up to Long Island Sound, where we anchored for the night in Smith Cove, off Shelter Island - a lovely, tranquil anchorage after a boisterous day’s sail.
