After a sunny day exploring the trails of Jewel Island, we weighed anchor and had a gentle sail under yankee alone. We had a lunch stop at Water Cove in Wills Gut East and waited for the flood tide, then made our way over to Quahog Bay, dodging oh so many lobster pots. After sailing a mere 12 miles we arrived at the stunningly beautiful anchorage SE of Snow Island - one of the flattest, mill pond of an anchorage we've ever found. Perfect!
