The trip to Kalkan was hardly taxing as there was little wind and a pretty flat sea. We played around with the sails and checked all the string was in order. The new staysail sheet blocks are in the right position and the sail filled well. We stopped overnight in Kalkan alongside the quay which is a bit risky as there are quite a few obstructions underwater. It was only possible because all the local boats are still ashore. Thursday is Market day so we walked up the hill and bought a few provisions.

We stayed overnight and fortunately it cost nothing as it appears the harbourmaster is still hibernating. We had a similar trip back and had a look at Kaputas beach from the seaward side.

We now plan to sail the 100nm to Antalya to pick up a friend from the airport on the 5th April stopping at various anchorages and marinas on the way.
