We filled up with diesel and two beers in the one
hour we spent in La Coruna leaving at 1700 yesterday. We left expecting to motor
all the way to Brest because the forecasts were for four days of windless
weather.. After four hours thye wind got up and we have been sailing at 5-6kts
since. Initially we were able to make a course to Brest but earlier this morning
the wind backed and is dropping but we are still using it to get north on about
340.
We are just about to take our Spanish courtesy flag
down which is a bit sad after such a great summer in Mazarron.
