Kas to Kalkan 10.4.2013

The distance to Kalkan is only about 14nm. We left before the wind woke up which it did after an hour or so and decided to blow from the direction we were heading. This was redeemed slightly because when we turned into Kalkan Bay we were able to have a good sail with only the genoa giving us 6.5kts.

The gulets in Kalkan have still not been launched so there is plenty of room in the harbour. Colin and I walked round to the beach.

Minka is behind his right ear. We then had a go at repairing the dinghy which had a 100mm tear in it.

I doubt this will work but we will have to wait to try it as the instructions on the repair kit say to leave it for 24 hours before inflating.

Hopefully we will get a favourable wind to blow us to Fetiye tomorrow which is about 40nm.
