A day in Marmaris had its highs and lows. The lows involved sorting out all the paperwork. They have a fascinating approach to currency. My Turkish Visa was ten pounds. My transit log was paid in Turkish funny money and the agency fee in Euros……………whatever makes them happy.

I had a bit of a walk around and spent some time watching the yacht racing in the bay. This is one of their race weeks

And had a look around. There is a castle

A sort of canal

A rather odd looking spider

And a boat which might be another sculpture

And from the other side it appears to have a duckling between its wings
