Addaya really is a great place. I have been here for nearly a week and can’t see a reason to leave. The anchorage is great and much smoother than most marinas.

A picture of the marina office.

The sporty burgundy Mercedes belongs to an English woman who works there. She and her husband arrived on their boat a few years ago and have never moved on. The place is full of other British people who have done the same thing. The chaps seem to get work doing maintenance on the holiday homes or on boats. They are all very friendly and very willing to have a beer.

There is also a vintage tractor department.

Some of you will be able to name that tractor……………..the grey paint does not help. The roll cage seems somewhat flimsy……………………

The final picture shows an interesting approach to buoyage

Tying the buoys to the shore makes it much easier to change the bulbs or maybe they placed this ready for when global warming raises the Mediterranean water levels.

The free Wifi seems to have been turned off so I will have to find an internet café. We will move on in a day or so if we get some helpful wind forecasts.
