Picked up pedestal today shaft now aligned properly as
can now fit with both old needle bearings fitted. It does feel a little tight
but that could be lack of grease and old bearings. Plan to install the pedestal
on boat tomorrow and wire up the USB connection on the plotter case.
New bearings just arrived in Grenada, awaiting Customs
clearance. As Public Holiday here Monday will not get the 2 kits until Tuesday
if I am lucky. Monday Grenada celebrating Independence day, this year no big
parades and parties, lots of bunting up, red, yellow and green.
Went for a cycle to St Georges today and on the way pick
up some nibbles (peanuts) for the evenings and get some local currency for
beer.
