Steady 24 hours with good speed bar the last couple where we have dropped down to 4 knots from averaging nearly 6. Have a weather request in presently and if comes back with expected will tack soon so will again have some south with the easting's in our heading, not good but should keep us in more wind. It will also keep us in the tropics as once we get passed 23N will pass Tropic of Cancer.
Having more sunshine at sea than we ever had on land which means down below here is sweltering during the day. At night you can feel it noticeably cooler and our lightweight jackets are worn.
Minor tasks done today. Re-marked the main halyard for where to drop to to put in the reefs. One check stay whipping has come off the chafe guard at one end so a bodge done with tape until we get access to sail repair box.
Dinner delights later will be beef casserole, with last fresh roll and for pudding mandarin segments in juice.
