Nearly died doing this walk.  Only 8 km but there was a lot of sand to walk through, which was tough going.  The temperature has increased dramatically and we ended up walking in about 32C.  Got very hot and bothered.  Anyway nice karst scenery again.

We had a few streams to cross.

In places lots and lots of butterflies.  Of course, every time we tried to take a photo they flew off.

The termite mounds are getting bigger,  Paul can’t see over the top of this one!!

Mataranka Falls, not very impressive.

And even less impressive

Paul without his fly net.  The flies have decreased but the mosquitos have increased.

Before we got truly knackered.  Paul had to take photo because of the confused measurements.  I pointed out yard also meant farmyard.

Small limestone cliff and a not crocodile infested river.

No idea what this tree is but its spouting cotton, so it is probably the cottonwood tree!
