Cape Otway and a mass of wild koalas

On the way to the Otway lighthouse we went through a several manna gum trees – one of the eucalypts that koala – an in all the trees were brownish lumps.  Here are some of the many pictures that we took.

These are dead gum trees, cause of death unknown.  Over eating by koalas, lack of fire which has caused the undergrowth to grow into big shrubs which are using the nutrients, global warming, who knows.
