>From 12.00 UTC on the 1st, to Noon on the 2nd December, distance travelled from Cape Verde is now 674 miles on the trip.
Noon to noon run was 155 miles

24 hour sailing report
The wind has maintained a speed from 10 to 18 knots from the ENE or NE. We are sailing with the genoa and main fully out as the wind is just aft of the beam.
We kept sailing at a steady 5 to 7 knots. Hence the reduction in the daily run distance
We are now on the track course of 288 degrees.
No rain over the last 24 hours.
Not much wild life day today, just flying fish and a few sea birds.
We are now sailing in company with three other boats, Moin a German boat about 40 feet long, and Marite 111 also 40 feet and Karacool the 53 foot CAT who is also one of our group boats.
We all left within about an hour of each other. Karacool is now 125 miles ahead of us in Oyster Moon. Moin is about 39 miles behind with Marita 111 about 35 miles behind us.
Just to let you know we have a sea water temperature of 29.9 C and an air temperature of 27.7 C. We hope it's not too cold in the UK
