Left Peniche for Cascais.

Motor sailed except for the last couple of hours.  Need about 20 knots to really get going- that will be the kitchen sink effect.

We stayed in Cascais marina for 5 days.  Paul contacted Garmin as AIS finally died on us.  Engineer came and updated all software and put in new junction box. Paul then spent the rest of the day trying to thread wire down binnacle, through engine room, under the floor and up to junction box behind the instrument panel.  Feeding the wire down the steering column took about 5 hours.  Nearly impossible to get behind the engine.  Eventually sussed not enough room in the cable thingy, so Paul ripped some of that out.  Many scratches and bruises and a day and a half later we have a working AIS.

The marina had some very interesting statues around and about.

This is Carlos 1st
