The walk ended on this sandstone bluff which was uplifted from the seafloor millions of years ago.  This bluff was originally overlain by limestone which has long gone.   Seriously tall overhang being constantly eroded from the wind and waves of the Tasman Sea

What appears to be gloop is water running down the cliff face.

In the cove around the corner was a huge cavern.  Smooth in places, honeycomb in others.
