11^th March.

Arranged a trip to giant tortoise farm and lava tubes. 

It was hunt the tortoise in the undergrowth and I did make a study on poo. 

Stephen decided that he would do the snake trick on me, I owe him one.  Amazed that tortoise live in such deep vegetative areas but certainly large enough to crash their way through the undergrowth, albeit slowly. 

After lunch we walked a lava tube.  It must have been about 10m high for most of the way. 

Unfortunately the end was literally a belly crawl through a gap under the lava. 

Someone had thought to lay a mat under the gap, unfortunately because of the water dripping down from the roof all the time, the floor was saturated and the mat very muddy.  We all emerged a tad on the dirty side.
