Passage to San Blas Islands near Panama Canal
Day 6 on the 7 February 2012
We left Bonaire at 09.30 (local time), on the 2 February, heading for the San Blas Islands near Colon and the Panama Canal.
Arrived at Isla Porveir in the San Blas Islands at 8.30 am on Tuesday 7 February 2012
Last 18 hour sailing report
The wind speed dropped down to between 10 to 15 knots during the last 18 hours. The wave height is 1.0 to 2.5 m.
We have had to slow right down so that we arrived at the island at first light, so a very slow sail through the night.
We have had excellent sailing again just under genoa alone.
This is like one of those islands you see in pictures, with coconut trees and white sandy beaches
