This is Centenary Tower, 190m above sealevel. The foundation stone says it all. The tower is illuminated at night and you can see it for miles around. The path to it was very steep in places !!! View form the base of the tower. The Valley Lake crater is in the foreground. The oval green is believed to have been the first crater formed. You can just about make out Blue Lake in this one. Mount Schank in the distance. Rolling volcanic countryside and another small crater. |
