Passage to Bundaberg, Australia

Day 4 Date 13 October 2012

We left Port Moselle New Caledonia at 8.30 local time on Wednesday the 10 October 2012.
We are heading for our next island which is quite a big island !!!, called Australia. Total distance is about 800 miles.

Day 4

Log reading at noon is 19578

Noon to Noon distance = 143 miles

Distance to go 385 miles.

The wind over the last 24 hours has changed through a complete 360 degrees. So we have gone from a Port reach, to a dead run, to a Starboard reach, to on the nose and then back to the Port side. This direction changes has made the last 24 hours very interesting sailing.

The wind direction changes also created some very lumpy and big seas, the waves not knowing which way to go.

Wildlife
Just a few birds today.

Ship
No ships seen in the last 24 hours

Next Noon report on the 14 October 2012
