Noon to Noon report on the 23rd March 12
We have managed to sail a full 24 hours again, the wind has now picked up to 15 to 22 knots from the South East, which is giving us a great reaching sail. We are now sailing at our normal speed of 6 to 7 knots and in the direction we need to go. So heading South West to try to pick up the wind has worked.
The sea state is moderate, giving us a bit of a bumpy sail, but otherwise OK. We have had some lightening but it has be a long way from the boat
Wildlife report
We have seen a few flying fish and a few seabirds, but nothing else
Shipping report
None to report
Fleet Positions
Karacool set off with us, and is at present about 67 miles behind us.
Camelot set off on Tuesday and is now 376 miles behind us.
Marita 3 set off on Tuesday and is now 368 miles behind us.
Next report on the 24th.
