We left Bora Bora at 10.00 local time which is - 11 hours (behind) UTC (GMT), on Tuesday the 12 June 12, heading for our next island called Niue.
Day 7
Log reading at noon is 16956
Noon to Noon distance through the water = 171 miles
Distance to go 314 miles
Noon to Noon distance over the ground = 152 miles
The wind maintained 12 to 16 knots until about 18.00 and then started to pick-up eventually averaging at about 25 knots, with gusts up to 32 knots. This has been maintained right through until noon local time today.
So with this wind we have made an excellent mileage figure for the 24 hours
