Isla Tigre is another Kuna village that Paul wanted to see –for comparison sake.  And what a nice comparison it was.  People really friendly – minor hassle to buy mola but not over the top.  When we arrived we were taken into the community hut, sat down, and charged 10$ per person to visit the island.  These huts are where the daily deliberations take place.  Each inhabited island has three chiefs – the man and then the man’s assistance.  They lie in hammocks in the middle of the hut whilst everyone else is seated on benches.  The island had a runway but it had not been used in over two years.  One of the children was killed by landing plane and so since then chief he say No.  The runway –just in case you have never seen one like this before !
