Whilst the boat was out of the water we stayed in the Landing Beach Resort
– a 2 minute walk away. The bed was decorated with a different message every
night –sweet aye!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We stayed in basically a semi-detached wooden bungalow called a bura.
Veranda was cloaked in fly screen, now we know what caged animals feel like, on
the other hand we could have been people watching voyeurs. On Sunday’s a
wood pit is fired up and meat cooked inside.
![]() Part of the beach at Landings. The bridge leads to a small island
shaped like a foot. There are a couple of golf holes (?) on the island –
and lots of golf balls on the surrounding reefs.
![]() A gastropod feeling and feeding around the reef.
![]() Me on the reef. Unlike other places we have been, here the reefs are
wave-cut platforms.
![]() A picture of Paul:
![]() View from the ‘foot’ towards the beach – golf trolley on the RHS.
![]() Sunset, and we have yet to see the green flash – poppycock!
