Second night spent on our ocean passage to Madeira.

During the day we had a small shoal of about 6 to 8 what we think was Tuna swimming along side of he boat for about 30 minutes.

We also saw what looked like a very large shoal of Tuna hunting, as they kept leaping out of the water as though they had been chasing their prey up towards the surface. However as we have also seen two small sharks of about 12 to 15 feet long, maybe it was the Tuna who were being hunted!!

A good night had by all, as we have now changed the watch times to 3 hours on 3 hours off. We both got a much better sleep and the 3 hours on was not to bad.

Speed averaged about 6.00 knots, with wind changing from 12 to 18 knots.

Good sail so far with Marita III following now about 10 - 12 miles behind us.

We now have about 175 miles to go, and at our present speed of 5 to 5.5 knots, we hope to arrive in the early morning of Wednesday 14th September.

I will post our position again on Tuesday 13th September
