Walked from caravan site around part of the bottom lake.  An Australian pelican taking a break.

Looking out across bottom lake.

Some of the boats moored along the lake.

Paul at one of the fishing platforms built by the local cuncil, and funded by th fishing licences.  I’m surprised there are any fish left here.  However, bet they are canny now as we saw loads of fishermen but nt one fish.

Just as we were about to turn back heard this really loud noise of what we initially thought were birds.  They weren’t, it was a huge colony of flying foxes.  There were thousands of them.  The smell was disgusting.  They wrap their ‘wings’ around themselves.  Here’s a load of batman shots.
