Left Scarborough for New South Wales.  Went just over the border and into the Great Dividing Range, which must get its name from its north to south extent, because they are not very high.  Stopped at a campsite in  Wadeville, south of the Border Ranges National Park.  We were hoping to do some walking in the parks but none of them were open due to cyclone Oswald (although it wasn't cyclone by time it went through region).  Lots of trees fallen down and, because eucalyptus trees are shallow rooted, the rangers have to check all trees along the walking tracks.  Visited a village called Nimbin.  Old hippy town, and by old I mean the people.  Wacky backy pervaded the place but all a bit tacky.
