5th August
Paul and I visited Sigatoka National Park with Iseta. This is the
only national park in Fiji and covers part of the coastline with some mobile
sand-dunes. Apparently concerns were being raised about the loss of
coastline to hotel/resort complexes, so this area, with the villagers
permissions has been set aside. Iseta and I having our last
cigarette. Note the panic on my face!
View over colonised sand dunes to the sea beyond.
At last a picture of Paul and I.
The first clamber
Going down to the beach...
The beach was awash with tree trunks,no wonder we keep hitting
things. However,very little plastic.
Lots of different seeds.
