Hi All,

The transit day and time has now been confirmed, although times may vary!!!!

We will be starting our transiting of the Panama Canal on the 25th Feb 2012 at about 16.00 local time, which is about 5 hours after GMT, so about 22.00 UK time.

You might just about see us on the Canal web cam. On the 25th you will need to look at the Gatun Lock web cams, as this is the first lock.

If you look on the Gatun High Resolution Web Cam, this is the way we will be approaching the lock, i.e. from the Colon side. The other Gatun cam is looking in the direction that we will be leaving the lock.

The following day the 26th, at about noon through to 15.00 (UK time about 17.00 to 20.00 hours) we will be passing through the last lock system the Miraflores Locks, on the Panama side .

If you look on the Miraflores ordinary resolution cam, this will be the direction we will approach from to enter the lock, the High Resolution Web Cam, this is the way that we will be leaving the lock, i.e. heading for Panama City and the Pacific Ocean.

I expect we will be little dots amongst the large ships!!!

I tried to see a boat which we knew was going through, but the quality of the picture was poor, so you could not make out very much details, so I would not spend too much time looking.
