Our passage continued today, leaving Great Mercury Island
bound for Gulf Harbour, a distance of 56 miles. On leaving the anchorage just as
dawn was breaking (after getting up and making ready to sail in the
dark!), it was a passage up the east coast of the Coromandel
peninsula, through the Colville Channel and into and across the Hauraki
Gulf. The Lat/Log recorded here is to ensure the Google map follows our
progress, rather than suggesting that we took a short cut across
land!
