St Lucia in May - the rain forest sky ride

The forest sky ride in the rain forest was
excellent. It was built up the side of a mountain and you traveled up
through the different layers of the rain forest in a small cable car/gondola
(taking 8 people and a guide), right up to the canopy.
The guide gave commentary on the flora and fauna and the
views from the top were spectacular.
   The view from the top - not for those who
don't like heights.
 Not very much forest has been disrupted to
accommodate the ride.
  The seed landed on the rock and just continued
growing!
 The strangler vine will eventually kill the tree
it's growing around.
