The anchorage at Tyrrel Bay is good and the anchor was
completely buried in the sand, so very little chance of dragging, and if you did
drag there is nothing in the way until you reach Honduras a 1000 miles or so to
the west! With nothing blocking the view to the west, the camera came out for
every sunset and a few are included below. It was a very quiet and relaxing
place to be. The water is very clear and with little fetch on the water it's
easy to swim off the back of the boat. The snorkeling around the area
was excellent and Mike went diving several times, being picked up from
the boat by JP from Lumbadive, the local dive operator. We stayed at anchor
for 12 days in Tyrrel Bay before moving on south again and sailing the 32
miles to St George's, the capital of Grenada.
