Winds have become stronger and seas bigger, so we have slowed the boat down to keep control and make the motion easier. We have very little sail up and are making around 5.5 to 6.5kts, slightly south of due west. As a result our daily run was the lowest so far at 158.5 miles. None of the forecasts have suggested winds quite this strong, but they are suggesting that the winds will ease by Thursday. So it looks like it's going to be a slow and rolly ride until then. But the sun is shining and it's a lovely day. Also we have passed the 2,000 miles mark and now have less than 1,000 miles still to go - 916 at noon today.
