A young sea lion spent most of yesterday around the boat, chasing the shoals of small fish that have set up home around the rudder and in the bow-thruster tunnel. He chases the shoal out into open water and then picks off the ones that start jumping out of the water. It's fascinating to watch and in the main cabin you can hear the bubbles he's blowing and swirl of water as he makes fast turns. He/she is doing it for fun as the fish are only tadpole size, so they're not even a snack to a sea lion!

The following photos are of wildlife that landed on the boat in the last week, while we were at anchor!

This flying fish was 8 inches long, the biggest we've seen so far!

This was the second squid we found on our deck.

This moth landed in our cockpit, it's about 4 inches wide.
