Almost at the end of the Ragged chain - next stop Cuba with all being well leaving tonight to sail to Puerto Vita almost due south from here. Just 70 odd miles away. In the whole Jumentos/Ragged chain we have seen just 8 other cruising yachts and 3 'trawlers' so its not exactly crowded. At this time of the year it's possible to find an anchorage all to yourself - in fact yesterday we had an island to ourselves as the only other yacht at Buenavista Cay (8 miles north of here) obligingly moved on south leaving us to explore this uninhabited Cay with its 1 mile long golden sand beach. Pure bliss! A wonderful memory of our second season in the Bahamas.
