The voyage from Lagos took 3 days 5 hrs and was a mix of bumpy mixed-up waves from many directions on day one with boisterous sailing conditions, idyllic on day two (what you dream ocean sailing should always be like) and back to bumpy mixed-up waves (albeit a beautiful deep azure blue in colour) and strong winds today. Still no fish on the line but the aquair water turbine was at last put to use in keeping the batteries supplied with more power.The forecast is for more strong winds over the next few days apart from tomorrow so we may be here for longer than planned - no bad thing as we had intended to walk the island and discover it's charms.
