Well things improved dramatically yesterday as the winds picked up we managed a run of 120nm the best we have done for a few days.  Also the ARC emailed us a weather briefing which indicates the trades are finally coming, should be in position by today, strengthening over the next few days.  Boats further west of us should already be experiencing the stronger winds and on a more stable course to St Lucia, we will arrive eventually, Chris described our route as the 'wiggly line route' not to be confused with the rhumb line route and certainly not the trade wind route!
 
We are managing to keep sane in this heat by enjoying the dolphin and flying fish activity and a lot of reading is being done by the not too hard pressed crew!
