Catania Marina Berth

We travel separately up to Taormina by bus through progressively more attractive surroundings and lush vegetation the nearer we get to this historic, ‘must see’ tourist attraction . We are not disappointed. The Greek theatre is positioned above the town with fabulous town and coastal views including the Etna volcano After doing the tourist bit touring the theatre we take a drink on the terrace of the nearby five star Grand Hotel Timeo where our two Spritzers and bottle of water set us back 41 € for two!!! 

After a very pleasant lunch at the Cisterna Del Moro restaurant where we were able to view the beautiful bay and distant coastal views from our corner table, we briefly met up with K and E for a coffee. We separately spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the old town. Later we took our bus back to Catania where we all had a nice dinner in town which K and E treated us to.
