After 'Bootlegger's' arrival in Nelson's Dockyard, English Harbour for
Christmas and Eugene transferred to his ultimate destination - Ray's boat
where he will be crewing over the next few months, the boat was clear for
me to prepare for the Festive Season and Moe's arrival.

Moe and I brought in the New Year at Jolly Harbour with the Irish
contingent from the ARC including good friends from the Dunlaghaire boat
‘Blue Flier’ which was shortly to leave on the World ARC for Australia
where they were to settle. What a night! We then cruised Antigua together
before Moe sadly had to prematurely return home due to family reasons.

Whilst in Nelson's Dockyard I put in the shreds of my Balooner for repair
at the local sail loft. They did a fabulous job on the repair – giving me
it back in as new condition with a bill for U.S.$ 565.00. Hey ho.

So now with Moe gone I am about to embark on a solo voyage up and down
the Windward and Leeward Islands of some 750nm before putting 'Bootlegger'
to bed in Grenada for the hurricane season in June.
