14:25 53:09.95N 005:59.64W Entering Dublin Bay

‘Florence’ left us for Dun Laoghaire.

15:00 53:14.698N 006:00.46NW Dublin Bay. On dead run; wind right behind
us. Still motor sailing in a building sea. Weather cold and grey.

17:00 53:23.41N 006:04.82W Arrived Howth Marina.
Filled up fuel tank. Have used 240 litres since leaving Southampton ( 530nm )

17:30 Berthed on first hammerhead ( A1). After a Guinness we ate ashore in
seafood restaurant.

10:30 R and L very tired and retired to their bunks early. Entertained
Dutch couple, Bart and Seitske from Medemblik off an early Amel behind us
called ‘Folie’a Deux’ and local club members and circumnavigators, Pat and
Olivier Murphy to a night cap. Bart and Seitske were doing a
circumnavigation of the British Isles whilst Pat and Olivier having spent
8 years circumnavigating the globeand retired from their chandlery
business were just happy to share their wonderful memories. Three hours
later hit my bunk.
