10:00 16:18.37N 61:47.85W. Deshaies anchorage. After lifting and stowing tender,
outboard engine, bathing ladder etc lifted anchor and headed out into open sea where
a course of 18 degrees was set.
Shortly before noon overhauled a 38’ sloop – ‘V.I. Bound’ out of Chicago.
Called her up and we arranged to photograph each other which we did.
Noon: 16:35.20N 61:47.6W Motor (2000 rpm) sailing on close reach with all sail out.

Met up with Trevor the guy who skippered
the yacht next to me here in 2007. He now skippers a
beautiful American motor yacht which is based here.
Went over to Falmouth Harbour to eat.
