After spending two weeks in Papeete we left today for Moorea, only 10 miles, but a complete change. In Papeete we spent six days in a boat yard, we lifted out to change a jammed seacock and to antifoul and discovered that a repair to the rudder carried out by a company in Plymouth before we set out had failed and this needed sorting. A fairly quick job after the rudder had dried out for three days. We took the opportunity to change the Diesel and Water fillers at the same time as the plastic caps were suffering from the sunshine, all stainless now.
We are anchored in Cooks Inlet on the north of Moorea and hope to fill up with duty free Diesel here ready to move on toward Huahine and Bora Bora, we also want to do some snorkelling here on the reefs and possibly swim with the Stingrays. Apparently an amazing experience.
