Sopers Hole is an inlet on the South West tip of Tortola.  It has a marina/moorings and a customs post and apparently not much else.  Here you are just a mile from the United States, in the form of the US Virgin Islands, and there was a steady flow of ferry traffic from St Johns through the customs office.

On the way here we suffered our first significant tide since arriving in the Caribbean, and had fun tacking against tide and a light head wind through Thatch Island Cut.

From here we plan to make a brief stop in Road Town, capital of Tortola, for supplies before heading to the smaller islands south of Tortola.
