We told that Lagos was also known as Port Velcro because people tend to get that far and then stick there for a long time so we were more than pleased to get out yesterday morning, pay our fees, top up with fuel and go. Another good day weather wise but the wind was variable both in speed and direction and we didn't clear the Traffic Separation Scheme off Cape St. Vincent until 10 PM and since then we have made steady progress toward our destination of Porto Santo, 100 miles done 350 to go.
