Every cupboard stocked with food
Cooking underway requires wedging yourself in against the galley cupboards to avoid being thrown across the boat.
Our elegant tableware.  A dog bowl is big enough to hold a decent portion and deep enough that pasta doesn’t go sliding off when the boat rolls.
Sleeping at sea.  The leecloths on the salon berths stop you rolling off.

Sailing with a  poled out Genoa
The red vane of the Hydrovane self steering keeps us on course…
So the wheel can be used as a washing line to dry out clothes after a night of squalls!
Phil talking to Larry on ‘Tern’ during our daily radio chat.
Fresh bread and cakes for the second half of the trip.
