We stayed in Arrecife a day longer than intended, as we found a shop selling solar panels of the size that we wanted at a reasonable price.  We had a walk around the city centre and visited the Museum of Contemporary Art housed in an old fort.  Sarah found the building more interesting than the art, not being sure if the artists were actually any good…

After purchasing our panels this morning, we left for Puerto Calero, with a fresh north easterly breeze blowing.  We sailed the 15 miles down the coast with just the Genoa unrolled and had a fantastic passage, taking under 3 hours, in lovely sunshine.
